1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect only information that is reasonably necessary to facilitate and optimize the Site and the activities available on it.

Information You Provide to Us Voluntarily

On the Site, you may choose to provide CTASafe with certain information about yourself which can be “personally identifiable information” or “personally identifying information”. You may choose not to submit such personally identifiable information but then you will not be able to create an account on the Site. The term “personally identifiable information” means information that is collected in connection with your name such as your address, e-mail, phone number, and credit card information. We do not store any credit card information provided on the Site but it may be stored on third-party platforms pursuant to their terms and conditions and privacy policy.

Information We Collect Automatically

When you use the Site, we may also collect and store certain non-personally identifiable information automatically through the Site’s standard server logs. This information helps us personalize and maximize the online experience you and other visitors have with the Site. This allows us to measure analytics, manage, and improve the services available on the Site. This information does not identify you personally and may include, but is not limited to:

  • Date and time of visit;
  • IP address;
  • Browser type;
  • Operating system time;
  • Any referring Site;
  • Type of device you used; and
  • General geographic area from which you’re accessing it.

2. HOW WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION

There are various ways in which we collect your information, both personally identifying information and non-personally identifying information.

  • Your Voluntary Disclosures. We collect information you provide to us when you fill out the Contact Us form on the Site, request services or information from us, create an account with us, participate in public forums or other activities on the Site, and any platforms which permit us to interact directly with you.
  • Cookies and Web Beacons. We may use common Site tracking technologies, including cookies, pixels, and tags. These are temporary bits of code placed in your web browser that allows CTASafe to track how you use the Site and facilitates communication when you browse the Site and store your preferences. No personally identifiable information is ever stored in a CTASafe cookie, even if you have entered your name or email address on other parts of the Site. You may have the ability to set your browser to refuse to accept cookies, though some parts of the Site may not function properly if cookie acceptance is disabled and you may not be able to fully utilize the Site. This tracking data is used in order to provide optimal services and convenience, including, for example, providing useful features to simplify your experience when you return to the Site (e.g., remembering your contact information for future communications); to deliver relevant content based on your preferences, usage patterns, and location; to monitor and evaluate the use and operation of the Site; and to analyze traffic on the Site. We may associate this tracking data with your registration account, in which case we will treat it as personally identifying information. For more information about cookies, please visit: www.allaboutcookies.org
  • Do Not Track (DNT) signals Some web browsers may transmit Do Not Track (DNT) signals to the websites with which the user communicates. Because of differences in how web browsers incorporate and activate this feature, it is not always clear whether users intend for these signals to be transmitted, or whether they even are aware of them.  We currently do not change our tracking practices in response to DNT settings in your web browser, and we do not obligate our third-party partners to change their tracking practices in response to DNT settings in your web browser.
  • Third Party Tracking. We may utilize certain analytics and pixel tools to provide us with comprehensive analytics to assist us in tracking issues and improving the Site. Further, when you visit or log into the Site, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners, vendors or other third parties, including those advertising on the Site to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email or home address and they may follow your use of the Site or advertisements placed on the Site. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these email or home addresses. CTASafe does not control third-party tracking; however, you may opt out of receiving advertising from CTASafe (or service providers on our behalf) by visiting: https://app.retention.com/optout
